There are several organizations withing the State of Colorado that share the goals and purpose of Colorado-CURE although having their own specific agenda. Colorado-CURE works with these affiliate organizations on specific projects and advocacy.

 

Advocates for Change (AFC) https://www.advocates4change.org/

Advocates for Change encourages and promotes educated, positive and judicious changes which benefit our community and society. AFC assists, informs, and educates, those constrained within the justice system, affected families, communities, the legal system, the legislature and others.

AFC is primarily focused on assisting those who are involved with the justice system due to a sexual offense conviction.

 

Coalition for Sexual Offense Restoration (CSOR)

CSOR provides information and support for people convicted of a sexual offense as well as their family members. CSOR provides a wide range of services, from mentoring and support of individuals and families, re-entry help with specific needs such as food, clothing, and flip phones, public education and advocacy, referrals to other agencies, advocacy regarding parole and probation conditions and other situations such as hearings, and much more. Colorado Criminal Justice Reform Coalition (CCJRC) is a non-profit organization whose mission is to eliminate the overuse of the criminal justice system and advance community health and safety. It consists of people convicted of crime, survivors of crime, and the families and allies of both. CCJRC advocates and organizes for public safety strategies that are more holistic, effective and just.
